- Lay flowers at Strangers’ Corner and Joshua
James’s grave with Point Allerton Color Guard, place flags
on all U.S. Coast Guard, Mass. Humane Society, and Life-Saving
Service graves.
11:00 a.m.-Noon Breeches Buoy Rescue Reenactments
- Help pull the lines - or go for a ride
yourself in a recreation of a time-honored coastal tradition.
11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. Guided Museum Tours
- America’s greatest lifesavers -
Hull’s own hometown heroes - lived and worked right
here. Come get acquainted!
11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. New Members Drive
- Join the museum TODAY, and receive a three-month
membership - free!
Noon -1:00 p.m. Strawberry Ice Cream Social
- A delicious way to welcome summer to Hull.

The Exhibits
- Discover Shipwrecks and Lifesaving, the Life
of Joshua James, Daily Life at the Life-Saving Station, Lifesaving
apparatus including the Surfboat Nantasket, Lighthouses of Massachusetts
Bay, the Children’s Loft, and a special show of Recent Acquisitions.
The museum is open 10 am - 4 pm on Joshua James Day with
free admission to all.
